Undertaker not planning to continue Six Feet Under podcast much longer
The Undertaker isn’t planning on being a podcaster much longer.
In 2023, Undertaker launched a Patreon page that eventually became his Six Feet Under podcast. The podcast existed outside of the WWE umbrella before being brought in-house last year as part of the WWE & Fanatics podcast network. When that change was made, Undertaker’s wife Michelle McCool became the show’s new co-host, replacing original co-host Matthew Lyda.
Six Feet Under still produces new episodes with Q&As and Undertaker interviewing other WWE personalities. But during an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet at Fanatics Fest, Undertaker said he doesn’t plan to continue the podcast after the current deal for the show ends.
“Not at all. No,” Undertaker responded somewhat playfully when asked if he’s having fun with the podcast. “Fanatics is actually one of the sponsors, but I’d almost rather go to the dentist and pull a tooth than do a podcast…
“How much longer? Oh, man, you say years? No, we’re probably talking months. I think, yeah, when this contract rolls out, I don’t think we’ll be renewing.”
Undertaker on his Lucha Libre AAA role —
Since retiring from the ring, life has been much busier than Undertaker expected. He’s moved to the behind-the-scenes side of the business as part of the Lucha Libre AAA creative team. Undertaker started in that role after WWE’s acquisition of AAA. His goal is for AAA to be different than what WWE is already offering on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
Undertaker was hesitant to fully define his AAA role but did eventually tell Insight that he’s the “Head of Creative.” When asked about the highly praised El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) vs. Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) feud, Undertaker shared the credit with Jeremy Borash.
