Number one contender’s match part of next week’s WWE NXT lineup
Tony D’s next opponent will be decided next week.
The NXT Champion came to the ring on this week’s show to address what went down last week between himself, Cruz Montana, and Grayson Waller, leading to both Montana and Waller arriving to state their case. D’Angelo told both men that they should battle it out to determine the number one contender for his title. Robert Stone made it official later in the show.
The Women’s North American title will also be on the line when Zaria defends against Wren Sinclair. The two met on Tuesday in a match for Sinclair’s Speed Championship. The match went to a five minute draw, and as a result, Sinclair kept her title and earned a North American title match for next week. Zaria, angry she wasn’t able to take out Sinclair, jumped her after the match.
Meanwhile, a mixed tag match will take place when Niko Vance and Izzi Dame team up to take on former friend Shawn Spears and Lizzy Rain. Dion Lennox will also meet former Darkstate stablemate Saquon Shugars, continuing their rivalry.
