ROH TV live results: Athena vs. Janai Kai, Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. RPG Vice
Ring of Honor is back on HonorClub tonight.
This week’s episode will feature an ROH Women’s World Championship Proving Ground match, with ROH Women’s World Champion Athena going up against Janai Kai.
Queen Aminata will be in action on this week’s show. Daddy Magic Matt Menard will go up against Beef.
Eddie Kingston and Ortiz will face Roppongi Vice of the Don Callis Family.
Tehuti Miles and Action Andretti will also be in action.
Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto will face MxM Collection.
ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet will defend her title against Isla Dawn.
The Lethal Twist will team with Griff Garrison against The Outrunners, Dalton Castle, and Adam Priest.
Plus, Caprice Coleman will “chop it up” with The Kingdom.
Ring of Honor is building towards the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, which is set for August 21, 2026, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

ROH Women’s World Championship Proving Ground: Athena vs. Janai Kai
Our match got underway with Athena and Kai fighting at a technical pace. Athena shoved Kai down and taunted her. Kai responded by putting her educated feet to good use to send Athena retreating out of the ring. As the ROH Women’s World Champ got back in, Kai took over with a pair of kicks, folloaed by the Slingblade. Kai then kicked Athena hard in the back of her head.
With three minutes to go, Billie Starkz hit Kai with the ROH Women’s World Title and it allowed for Athena to pick up the win with the O-Face.

– We got words from new AEW World Trios Champions, Bandido, Adam Page, and Brodie King after last night’s Grand Slam Mexico.
Queen Aminata vs. Rachel Ley
Collar and elbow tieup between Aminata and Rachel started this match off. Aminata hit a snapmare on Rachel before she kicked her in the back. The Queen’s Tush Push soon followed as Rachel countered with an enzuigiri. Rachel sent Aminata into the corner and battered away at her. The two exchanged chops and strikes in the corner until Aminata had the clear advantage with one hard chop to the chest of Rachel.
Rachel countered and hit a very acrobatic attack into the corner on Aminata. The finish from Aminata and this one’s over.

Beef vs. “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard
Beef and Menard sized one another up before the test of strength between these big, meaty-adjacent men. Side headlock by Menard as Beef pushed him aside. Shoulder blocks between the two to no avai, but Beef eventually got the better with a big shoulder takedown of his own. Beef avoided Menard in the corner and slapped Menard right in the cheeks to psyche him out. Menard responded with a slap of the cheeks of his won. Armdrag by Daddy Magic led to a big clothesline to send Beef out of the ring. At ringside, “Smart” Mark Sterling gave Beef a peptalk before sending him back into the ring.
Inside the ring, Beef was made to run laps by Sterling, as Daddy Magic joined him in response. Sterling pulled at Menard’s leg to distract him, which led to a scoop slam from Beef. The running splash by Beef missed the target as Menard avoided it. Beef responded with a big back elbow to the face of Menard. Beef delivered the big, beefy dropkick on Menard as he kept the momentum on his side. With the ref distracted, Mark Sterling grabbed at Menard’s face in the corner. Beef again sought advice from Sterling, but it gave Menard the opening to fight back with chops and the ten-punch in the corner. Menard went for a series of lariats, but Beef stood his ground. Big boot from Beef, but it was met with the German suplex from Menard. The cover, but Beef kicked out at two. Beef recovered and drove the knee to Menard’s midsection. On the apron, Beef got sent out of the ring by a kick from Menard, who went to confront him out of the ring.
Menard threw Beef in the ring, as Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese attacked him behind the referee’s back. With Menard thrown in the ring, Beef headed up top and connected with the Flying Pig to pick up the tainted victory.
Post-match, the Premier Athletes attacked Menard, as Daivari slapped Beef. This prompted Beef to attack Menard some more, but he showed some remorse afterwards.

I find this angle with Beef being browbeaten by the Premier Athletes to be quite an interesting one, and the payoff for it should hopefully be good when the time comes.

– Janai Kai challenged Billie Starkz to face her after what happened in the Proving Ground match earlier tonight.
RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs. Eddie Kingston & Ortiz
Ortiz and Beretta started things off as the latter refused to shake hands for the Code of Honor. Stalemate between Ortiz and Beretta on the collar-and-elbow tie up until Beretta struck with the elbow to the face. Ortiz retaliated with some strikes until Beretta swept him up with the side headlock. Ortiz escaped and pushed Beretta towards the ropes. He followed that with a flapjack to leave Beretta stunned. Tag to Kingston as he and Ortiz delivered a double suplex on Beretta. The rake of the eye by Beretta to Kingston allowed him to bring in Romero.
Romero tried to take advantage, but Kingston took him for a ride with a belly to belly suplex. The tag to Ortiz led to a double team STO/Russian legsweep combo attack on Romero. Throw to the corner by Romero to Ortiz led straight to boots on the back of Ortiz from Beretta. RPG Vice took over as Beretta and Romero worked over Ortiz. Romero struck Ortiz with a forearm to the face, following that up with a foot choke. Romero got sent for a ride with the body slam from Ortiz, who tagged in Kingston. Stretch Plum on Beretta by Kingston as Romero attempted to break it up. He paid for it and found himself trapped in the Stretch Plum. Beretta intervened and we got him and Kingston in a battle of chops. Kingston won it out with a very hard chop and then performed a Hart Attack with Ortiz on Beretta.
Dropkick by Beretta took Ortiz out to the ring. Beretta baited Kingston to illegally get in the ring, which allowed for Romero to strike Ortiz with a cheapshot. Kingston grabbed a chair and chased RPG Vice around the ring as he risked disqualification. In the ring, Beretta hit Ortiz with a tornado DDT for the near-fall. Ortiz recovered by biting at the inside of Romero’s legs, and got hit with three lariats. Ortiz countered the last attempt by Romero and Kingston got another hot tag. Completely fired up, Kingston battered Beretta with the rapid-fire chops and drove Romero down to the mat with a neckbreaker. Romero and Beretta cleared the ring as they looked to hit a devastating double move. Dropkick by Romero was followed by Beretta’s shining wizard, but that was still somehow not enough to win it for RPG Vice.
Beretta snatched Kingston and hit the Gotch-style piledriver as Ortiz broke up the cover. Ortiz found himself chucked out of the ring, which agian left Kingston at the mercy of RPG Vice. Beretta hit mocking kicks on Kingston, but he and Romero paid for it with a two-for one clothesline by Kingston. Ortiz tagged in and immediately got into it with Beretta in an exchange of strikes. Ortiz got hit with a knee from Beretta, but he countered with a leg lariat. Romero tried to interject, but Ortiz cracked him with a lariat. Doomsday Device attempt by Ortiz & Kingston, but the former got pushed out of the ring. Beretta accidentally hit Romero with the superkick before Kingston slammed him with the T-Bone suplex. Roll-up pin by Kingston on Romero and this one’s done.
After the match, RPG Vice responded to the loss by attacking Ortiz and Kingston. The two hit the Strong Zero/Double-Stomp combo on Kingston right onto a chair.
Eddie Kingston & Ortiz def. RPG Vice
I quite liked this hard-hitting match between two underrated teams that I feel deserve more appreciation. These are two teams who can really go, and the post-match attack by RPG Vice ensures that this feud will continue on.

Caprice Coleman Chops It Up With The Kingdom
Matt Taven & Mike Bennett said that they were looking for an intelligence they couldn’t find in ROH, in the form of artificial intelligence. Taven said that the AI told him and Bennett lean into their savy and cunning. Bennett wondered why more teams didn’t seek more help from artificial intelligence like they have.
Coleman questioned the Kingdom on why they needed AI help in the first place. Bennett and Taven continued to extol the supposed virtues of AI, much to Coleman’s confusion.
