The -1* match at TNA Hardcore Justice 2011 | WON Flashback
TNA Hardcore Justice 2011 took place on August 7 2011, and arguably the worst match on the card was for the TNA Knockouts Championship, which saw Winter (also known as Katie Lea Burchill in WWE) defeat Mickie James to become the new Champion.
That’s two well-respected names unfortunately having a bad match, and our own Dave Meltzer gave it -* (negative one star), saying that both “were not only not on the same page, not reading the same book, but they were in different libraries.”

Winter vs Mickie James at TNA Hardcore Justice 2011
Here is Dave’s review of Winter vs Mickie James at TNA Hardcore Justice 2011:
“Winter pinned Mickie James to win the Knockouts title in 8:52. Terrible match, as in worst PPV match of the year level. Angelina Love was out and constantly interfering to the point it wasn’t even getting heat because it just felt like part of the show. Crowd was dead. After Love had interfered the first two times, Winter threw James into the corner. Winter charged in. James put up her foot for the kick. Winter stopped, clearly not thinking that was coming.
“From this point the two were not only not on the same page, not reading the same book, but they were in different libraries. They kind of got it back but Love used her back stabber like finish, called the break-up bitch, and James kicked out, not even a pop. James hit the tornado DDT but Winter rolled to the floor. Love interfered again. James gave Love a hangwoman’s style neckbreaker. Winter then blew red mist in James’ face and got the pin while Earl Hebner was distracted by Love. -* (that’s negative one star)”
