Brock Rechsteiner will be suspended for the first six games of the NFL season.

The news was revealed on the NFL transaction wire, and a reason for his suspension has not been disclosed.

Rechsteiner, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent wide receiver earlier this year.

Rechsteiner was signed by the Saints on May 12, 2026, after attending the team’s rookie minicamp on a tryout. He spent four seasons playing at Jacksonville State from 2021 to 2025.

In an interview earlier this year, Rechsteiner said his cousin Bron Breakker has spoken to him about pursuing a career in wrestling after his football career is over.

“I work out with him all the time back home,” Rechsteiner said about Breakker. “I go fishing with him a lot, because he moved back to Georgia. And he really convinced me to, once I’m done playing football, he said play football as long as I can and once I’m done playing football, get into the wrestling business.”
