TNA notes: New Lockdown matches, next week’s lineup
TNA has announced the initial lineup for next week’s Impact as well as a few matches for its Lockdown PPV.
Next week on the August 13, 2026 episode of TNA Impact, Nic Nemeth will defend his TNA World Championship against Jeff Hardy. The August 6 episode of TNA Impact featured a contract signing between Hardy and Nemeth, where the World Champion was not pleased with Hardy’s behavior.
While Hardy kept focusing on his artwork, Nemeth kept berating him. Surprisingly, throughout the entire segment, Hardy did not speak a single word.
On the August 6 episode of TNA Impact, Heather by Elegance defeated Mara Sade in the TNA Knockouts TV title tournament and booked her spot in the semi-final. Next week’s Impact will feature Indi Hartwell going against M by Elegance for a spot in the tournament final.
This week’s episode also had two matches get confirmed for TNA Lockdown. After defeating Mustafa Ali last week and winning the TNA International title, Jason Hotch will now defend his title against Ali at TNA Lockdown.
Moose also issued a challenge to Frankie Kazarian for an Escape the Cage match at the Lockdown PPV. On the Thursday, August 6, 2026 episode of Impact, Kazarian spoke to Director of Authority Daria Rae and agreed to the match.
