Backstage details on Becky Lynch line removed from WWE Raw replay | Exclusive
Dave Meltzer provided more details on the Becky Lynch line that was edited out of WWE Raw replays on Netflix in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
During Monday’s Raw, Lynch told Liv Morgan that she is “not even the greatest women’s champion in your own group! Hell, you’re not even the greatest women’s champion that slept with Dominik Mysterio.” The line aired during the live broadcast but was later edited out of the show’s replay on Netflix.
In Friday’s edition of the newsletter, Meltzer reported that the line was not something Lynch improvised and had been included in the script. Triple H and others were aware it would be said.
Meltzer wrote:
“On the 8/3 Raw show, the line Lynch gave about Morgan not even being the best wrestler to have slept with Dominik Mysterio was edited off the replays. From what we were told, the line was not Lynch going impromptu as it was on the script and Levesque and others knew about it before she said it. She said, ‘You’re not even the greatest women’s champion in your own group! Hell, you’re not even the greatest women’s champion that slept with Dominik Mysterio.’”
