CMLL crowns 2026 Men’s International Grand Prix winner
Hechicero won the 2026 CMLL Men’s International Grand Prix on behalf of Team CMLL.
The 11-on-11 tag team elimination bout took place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Arena Mexico.
The final four wrestlers in the match were Mistico and Hechicero against Claudio Castagnoli and Pac. Castagnoli eliminated Mistico after he and Pac delivered a spiked Neutralizer.
Hechicero would first eliminate Pac with the snapping headscissors move he often uses. Hechicero would later win the match by wrapping Castagnoli in a submission hold he calls El Embrujo.
This is Hechicero’s second big victory over Castagnoli this year after defeating him to win the CMLL World Heavyweight title on March 20.
Team CMLL consisted of Angel de Oro, Barbaro Cavernario, Hechicero, Mascara Dorada, Mistico, Soberano Jr., Templario, Titan, Ultimo Guerrero, Volador Jr. and Xelhua. Team International consisted of Austin Aries, Bandido, Blake Christian, Claudio Castagnoli, DOUKI, Leon Cage, Orange Cassidy, Pac, Roderick Strong, Rohan Raja and Yujiro Takahashi.
