Finn Balor praises ‘annoyingly cool’ WWE star Dominik Mysterio
Finn Balor believes Dominik Mysterio has the potential to be an even bigger star than he already is.
While attending Zuffa Boxing’s event in his home country of Ireland last weekend, Balor joined MMA broadcaster Nina Drama for a Kick stream. One of the questions Balor fielded was about his former Judgment Day stablemate Dominik Mysterio, who Balor defeated at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year. Balor made reference to their kayfabe issues while still having big praise for Mysterio.
“Let me tell you something, Dominik Mysterio is annoyingly cool,” Balor responded when asked if Mysterio is a cool person. “The kid, everything he does seems cool. He does everything effortlessly. Obviously we’ve had our ups and downs, but I got nothing but love for Dominik Mysterio. I think he’s going to be an even bigger star than he is currently. I think he’s still on the rise, and I’m excited to see where he goes.”
Balor and Becky Lynch were both in Ireland to announce the news that, for the first time ever, an episode of Raw will emanate live from Dublin in January 2027. The show is taking place at 3Arena on January 25.
During the Kick stream, Balor named Samoa Joe (who is now with AEW) and Gunther as two of his favorite opponents. Lynch appeared later in the stream and chose Bianca Belair and Asuka when asked that same question.
