Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods announced for Jericho cruise
Whether the former Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods will end up joining AEW has not officially been confirmed yet, but we do know that they’ll be at sea with Chris Jericho this November.
It was announced today that Kingston (identified as “Kofi”) and Woods (Austin Creed) will be guests on Jericho’s next Rock n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise. The Jericho cruise first took place in 2018, and this will be its seventh iteration. It sails from Miami, Florida to Bimini, Bahamas from November 7-11, 2026.
Harley Cameron (AEW), Lady Frost (MLW), and Myla Grace (free agent) are also new additions to the cruise lineup. Other confirmed names include legends like The Great Muta and “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and current wrestlers like The Hardys (TNA) and Elayna Black (TNA).
Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods’ free agency —
It’s believed that Kingston & Woods entered free agency around the start of this month. The two New Day members departed WWE in May when they chose to be released instead of taking a pay cut. On July 29, Kingston & Woods uploaded a social media video hyping their free agency. The video gave a nod to their friend Big E, who remains with WWE in a broadcasting role after having to retire due to the broken neck he suffered in 2022.
The expectation is that Kingston & Woods will join AEW at some point, providing another boost to the tag team division that just added Motor City Machine Guns. The AEW Tag Team titles are currently held by Adam Copeland & Christian Cage.
Copeland & Cage are set to defend their belts against The Young Bucks at All In 2026 on August 30.
