Men’s Speed title match, fatal four-way number one contender’s match set for next WWE NXT
A fatal-four way match for a future Cruiserweight title shot is set for next week’s NXT.
AAA GM Rey Mysterio contacted Robert Stone on Tuesday and the two set up a fatal four-way number one contender’s match for next week’s show where the winner would face AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix on the August 25. The GMs suggested EK Prosper and La Parka, while Romeo Moreno and Tristan Angels threw their hat into the ring later in the night.
Meanwhile, a match will determine not one, but two title matches for Heatwave when Jackson Drake faces Shiloh Hill. If Drake wins, he not only gets a North American title shot, but Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor will get a shot at the NXT Tag Team titles, potentially forcing Myles Borne to wrestle twice on the same night. However, if he fails, Vanity Project will be shut out of Heatwave entirely.
Also set for next week is a tag team match pitting Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair against Kelani Jordan & Kali Armstrong after the four had a confrontation on Tuesday. The men’s Speed title will also be on the line when Lucien Price of OTM challenges Lexis King.
