AEW coming to Pittsburgh for Dynamite episode, Rampage debut

AEW is coming to Pittsburgh for two events this August.

It was announced today that the Wednesday, August 11 episode of AEW Dynamite will take place at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. AEW will then be back at the Petersen Events Center two days later for the premiere of AEW Rampage on Friday, August 13.

Tickets to the shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 25) at 10 a.m. Eastern time. Ticketmaster lists that there will also be a ticket pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. Eastern this Thursday. There will be special price two-event combo ticket packages available.

Rampage is a new hour-long AEW show that, starting on August 13, will air weekly on TNT at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays. Dynamite and Rampage will then move to TBS in January 2022.

AEW’s Tony Khan has said that Rampage will be live on some weeks and taped on other weeks after Dynamite. The premiere episode will be live.

Pittsburgh is the hometown of AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker. AEW previously came to the Petersen Events Center for the October 23, 2019 episode of Dynamite. That was the fourth-ever Dynamite episode.

AEW is heading back on the road starting with the Wednesday, July 7 Road Rager episode of Dynamite in Miami, Florida.
