Hangman Page vs. Kip Sabian set for AEW Fight for the Fallen

During last night’s Fyter Fest event, AEW announced a new match for Fight for the Fallen.

Hangman Page will face Kip Sabian at Fight for the Fallen in Jacksonville, Florida  on Saturday, July 13. The show is taking place at Daily’s Place Amphitheater at TIAA Bank Field and will benefit Jacksonville’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council.

Page defeated Jimmy Havoc, MJF, and Jungle Boy in a four-way match at Fyter Fest. He pinned Havoc after hitting a Buckshot Lariat and the Dead Eye.

Sabian was on commentary for the four-way match, and it was announced that he would take on the winner at Fight for the Fallen. In storyline, AEW was playing up that Page’s leg was still hurt following PAC’s post-match attack from their match in England last month.

After Fight for the Fallen, Page will face Chris Jericho at All Out in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on August 31. The winner will become AEW’s first World Champion.

Sabian didn’t wrestle at Fyter Fest, but he defeated Sammy Guevara on the Double or Nothing pre-show on May 25.

Here’s the updated card for Fight for the Fallen:

  • The Young Bucks vs. Cody & Dustin Rhodes
  • Kenny Omega vs. CIMA
  • Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie
  • Hangman Page vs. Kip Sabian
