Tag title tournament semifinals set for week four of AEW on TNT
Though details about their Tag Team title tournament are still sparse, AEW has revealed when the semifinals will be taking place.
The semifinals of the AEW Tag Team title tournament will be held at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 23. That’s week four of AEW television.
Tickets for weeks four and five of AEW TV are going on sale this Friday at noon Eastern time. The Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia is hosting week five on October 30.
Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor) are facing The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) at All Out on August 31, with the winning team getting a first-round bye in the Tag Team title tournament.
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) will face Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) in the first round of the tournament at week two of AEW TV in Boston, Massachusetts on October 9.
AEW will air live on TNT on Wednesdays from 8-10 p.m. Eastern time. It’ll be going head-to-head with NXT on the USA Network, which premieres two weeks before AEW TV begins.
