FRIDAY NEWS UPDATE

There are no main roster house shows this weekend. The Smackdown crew only works tonight. The Raw crew only Monday in Winnipeg for the go-home show for Super Showdown featuring Brock Lesnar.

FOX and ESPN are working together on tomorrow's Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder heavyweight title fight. It's been advertised like crazy by the two networks. FOX produced a four-part series to hype the fight, ESPN produced an E60. The promoters have said break-even on the fight is 850,000 PPV buys, with each fighter getting $28 million.

A correction from the current Observer. Ricky Knight Jr. is not the brother of Paige, but is the nephew of Paige and the son of Roy Knight. He's only 19 years old and promoter Andy Quildan compared him to people like Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr. and Marty Scurll at the same point in their careers.
