NJPW Lion’s Break Project 2 set for Anaheim

NJPW will be holding a pair of Lion’s Break Project shows in Anaheim, California for the second straight year.

NJPW has announced that Lion’s Break Project 2 will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8. The shows are part of CharaExpo USA 2019, which is put on by Bushiroad.

The Lion’s Break events feature Young Lions from NJPW’s dojo in California, and Alex Coughlin, Clark Connors, and Karl Fredericks have been announced for December’s events. Coughlin, Connors, and Fredericks have been wrestling at ROH shows and were part of NJPW’s New Beginning USA tour earlier this year.

Fredericks made his NJPW debut at Lion’s Break Project 1.

Hirooki Goto vs. ACH (with ACH replacing Jeff Cobb after he missed the show due to a flight delay) main evented day one of Lion’s Break Project 1 last year, while Kenny Omega vs. David Finlay headlined day two. Cobb, Ryusuke Taguchi, Rocky Romero, and Jushin Thunder Liger were also featured on Lion’s Break Project 1.
