Zack Sabre Jr. to defend G1 spot against YOSHI-HASHI

A stipulation has been added to Zack Sabre Jr. and YOSHI-HASHI’s match at Kizuna Road next week.

Sabre is set to defend his Revolution Pro Wrestling British Heavyweight Championship against YOSHI-HASHI at NJPW’s Kizuna Road show in Sendai next Tuesday (June 25). After a challenge that was issued by YOSHI-HASHI, Sabre’s spot in this year’s G1 Climax will also be on the line as part of the match.

Sabre, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay, KENTA, EVIL, SANADA, Bad Luck Fale, and Lance Archer have been announced as the A Block participants for the G1.

RevPro British Cruiserweight Champion El Phantasmo is defending his title against Ryusuke Taguchi at Tuesday’s Kizuna Road show. It will air live on New Japan World. Here’s the full card:

  • RevPro British Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. defending against YOSHI-HASHI (Taguchi will take Sabre’s spot in the G1 Climax if he wins)
  • RevPro British Cruiserweight Champion El Phantasmo defending against Ryusuke Taguchi
  • Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask vs. Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI
