AEW star announced for GLEAT Anniversary event amid injury recovery
AEW wrestler Kota Ibushi has been announced to make an appearance at GLEAT’s Fifth Anniversary event.
GLEAT officially announced Ibushi’s participation at the wrestling event on July 1 via social media. A premium photoshoot will be hosted with the AEW star along with a competition where winners will get autographed photos and meet and greet. More details on the event are available on GLEAT’s Instagram profile. The event will take place at the SGC HALL ARIAKE in Tokyo, Japan.
Ibushi has competed and headlined a few events at the wrestling promotion in the past decade. He is currently sidelined from in-ring action after suffering a broken femur last year.
During recovery, Ibushi has made multiple efforts to make his association and passion for wrestling known with his attendance at Super Japan Pro Wrestling event in May. Meanwhile, he also addressed plans on giving back to the industry by revamping Shinjuku FACE, a prominent wrestling venue to provide upcoming wrestlers a platform to showcase their talent.
