AEW wrestler says Cody Rhodes is ‘a polarizing figure’

Cody Rhodes

Eddie Kingston shared his thoughts on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, describing him as a ‘polarizing figure’ while reflecting on their history together.

Kingston was featured on the latest edition of Highspots Sign-It-Live session where he expressed sentiments towards Rhodes. He described the WWE wrestler as a ‘polarizing figure’ and expressed that he had to fight with him to earn the opportunity to get signed to AEW.

“He’s such a polarizing figure, you know what I mean? And I just know him as the dude that I fought to get my job.”

Kingston’s first AEW feud when he debuted on the promotion in 2020 was against Rhodes. He responded to his open challenge for the TNT Championship in a No Disqualification match, and was shortly after signed by AEW.

While still associated with AEW, Kingston has been competing on ROH, WxW and RevPro Wrestling over the past few months.
