AEW Blood and Guts Advantage Battle update
The AEW Blood and Guts Advantage Battle series kicked off on Wednesday’s Dynamite, setting the stage for the final matchups on Saturday’s Collision episode.
This is where the men’s and women’s Advantage Battles stand heading into Collision:
Claudio Castagnoli defeated Orange Cassidy in the first match in Wednesday’s Dynamite opener to put the Death Riders up 1-0 in the men’s series. Later in the show, Darby Allin defeated Daniel Garcia to even the score at 1-1.
With the men’s series tied, Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong is official for Saturday’s Collision episode, with the winner’s team earning the order of entry advantage in next Wednesday’s men’s Blood and Guts match.
In the women’s series, Megan Bayne defeated Mina Shirakawa on Dynamite to put her team up 1-0. Jamie Hayter and Skye Blue will square off on Collision in the second bout in the women’s series. If Blue wins, the Bayne team earns the order of entry advantage. If Hayter wins, the deciding match in the women’s series will take place later on Collision with Harley Cameron vs. Thekla deciding the advantage.
