AEW breaking tradition for Thanksgiving eve Dynamite episode

AEW is breaking one of its long-held traditions this November with the Thanksgiving eve episode of Dynamite set to be held somewhere other than Chicago.

Except for the pandemic year of 2020, the Chicago area has hosted the pre-Thanksgiving edition of Dynamite ever since AEW was founded. That won’t be the case this year, though, with AEW announcing today that the Wednesday, November 26 episode of Dynamite will take place at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tickets for the show are going on sale next Monday (September 8). There will also be a special Thanksgiving Collision taping on November 26 alongside the live Dynamite. AEW hasn’t announced broadcast plans for the Collision episode yet.

The Pinnacle is a newly opened venue in Nashville that primarily hosts concerts:

The Pinnacle is Nashville’s premier live music venue, now open within the heart of Nashville Yards. This state-of-the-art destination features a 4,500-capacity space on a 19-acre campus, designed to meet the energy and evolution of the city’s entertainment scene. Since opening in February 2025, The Pinnacle has become a cornerstone of the mixed-use district, drawing world-class performances and creating space for dynamic community engagement—cementing its place in Nashville.

Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, Men’s World Champion Hangman Page, Tag Team Champions Bandido & Brody King, and Kris Statlander are featured on AEW’s graphic advertising the event.

These Dynamite and Collision broadcasts will feature the fallout from AEW Full Gear, which is being held in New Jersey on Saturday, November 22.

In addition to this announcement, AEW has revealed Boston will be hosting the pre-Full Gear edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, November 19, with that show being held at Agganis Arena.
