AEW Collision: Fairway to Hell announced for SoFi Center next month

AEW Fairway to Hell

AEW Fairway to Hell is set for next month.

As first reported by the Miami Herald, AEW will present a special edition of Collision on Saturday, May 9, from the SoFi Center on Palm Beach State College’s campus.

The venue opened last year and serves as the home of the Tomorrow Golf League, which combines traditional golf with simulated indoor golf. A simulator screen measuring 64 by 53 feet is used for TGL competitions.

AEW published a press release about the event on Wednesday, noting that the venue can hold more than 1,200 fans.

AEW wrote:

“AEW Collision: Fairway To Hell will feature some of the biggest AEW stars in action as they make their debut inside the state-of-the-art SoFi Center for a unique, first-of-its-kind event that will bridge the worlds of pro wrestling and golf together. SoFi Center was built in 2024 and is a versatile event space in South Florida that can seat more than 1,200 guests.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday, April 13 at 10 a.m. Eastern.

AEW trademarked the name “Fairway to Hell” in 2024. The following year, Tony Khan told Barstool Sports that he hopes to organize a charity golf tournament titled “Fairway to Heaven” to coincide with a wrestling event named “Fairway to Hell.”

Khan said:

“I want to do a charity golf tournament called ‘Fairway to Heaven.’ And then have wrestlers and golfers and people participate for charity at Fairway to Heaven. Have the charity golf tournament on Tuesday and then do Dynamite in the same city or same location/region on Wednesday — ‘Fairway to Hell.’ Fairway to Heaven, Fairway to Hell, it would be great right? And I think it’d be awesome.”
