AEW Collision ratings down despite MJF vs. Omega title match

Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, headlined by MJF vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, averaged 472,000 viewers on TNT. That’s down 8.9 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total for the show since October 7 and is the second lowest-viewership for a Collision episode that did not air on the same day as a WWE premium live event.

Collision drew a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 18.8 percent from last week. It’s also Collision’s lowest rating since October 7. It’s the fourth-lowest rating of the 20 episodes of Collision that have aired to date and the lowest of any episode that didn’t take place on the same day as a WWE PLE.

The show did face the usual strong competition from college football as well as game two of the World Series. Between just the games on the broadcast networks and ESPN, there were over 25 million people watching baseball and football head-to-head with Collision.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was up 2.9 percent in overall viewers but down 7.1 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
