AEW Collision viewership up despite big competition from UFC 300 prelims
Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision averaged 468,000 viewers on TNT, up 1.1 percent from the previous week (which aired late at night following NCAA March Madness coverage). It’s the best audience total for the show since February 10 and is the second-most viewers the show has done so far in 2024.
Collision drew a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 13.3 percent from last week.
The show went head-to-head with the UFC 300 prelims on ESPN, which averaged 1.864 million viewers and drew a 0.86 rating in the 18-49 demo. The 18-49 rating for UFC was higher than any Raw or SmackDown this year has done, although UFC’s total viewership was lower.
“UFC number was biggest I can recall in years, think the Holm vs. Harrison fight and Prochazka vs. Rakic delivered in a gigantic way,” Dave Meltzer tweeted.
Battle of the Belts X, which aired on TNT right after Collision, averaged 422,000 viewers and drew a 0.11 rating in 18-49.
