AEW confirms date for upcoming Tag Team title match
Later this month, in January, FTR are officially set to defend their Tag Team titles against Jake Doyle and Mark Davis.
Last week, at AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage, Doyle and Davis emerged victorious in a four-way tag team match to determine the next challengers to FTR’s AEW World Tag Team Championship. Shortly after the match, Doyle and Davis brawled with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR.
With a date now finally set for the Tag Title match, FTR is scheduled to defend their titles against Doyle and Davis on the January 28th, 2026 edition of Dynamite in Austin, Texas, at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park.
Tony Khan and AEW also officially confirmed the match via a social media announcement.

With still a week left for the AEW Dynamite episode in Austin, Texas, the promotion has not yet announced a detailed lineup for the show.
