AEW Continental Classic results and updated standings

The AEW Continental Classic has reached its final night of league action following Wednesday’s Dynamite on 34th Street episode.

Two Blue League matches, plus one Gold League bout were held on Wednesday’s Dynamite with a clear favorite emerging in the Blue League and pure chaos in the Gold League.

Konosuke Takeshita punched his ticket to the semifinals set for Saturday’s Worlds End pay-per-view by reaching 10 points with a victory over Orange Cassidy, ensuring a top two Blue league finish.

Mascara Dorada defeated Roderick Strong in the other Blue league match on Wednesday to move to six points for the tournament.

In the lone Gold league match, Jack Perry defeated PAC, meaning each wrestler in the league has six points entering the final night of league action set for Thursday’s Christmas Collision.
