AEW Dynamite lineup for Forbidden Door go-home show
AEW has revealed a partial lineup for the Wednesday, August 20 Dynamite in Glasgow, Scotland, the final episode before next Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
In a preview of two Forbidden Door title matches, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Alex Windsor will team against ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone on next week’s Dynamite. Windsor will be part of a four-way for Mone’s TBS title at Forbidden Door, while Athena will challenge Storm for the AEW Women’s title by virtue of winning the Casino Gauntlet match at All In last month.
The finals of the AEW Tag Team title eliminator tournament are also set for next Wednesday, with FTR facing Brodido. The winners will move on to Forbidden Door to challenge The Hurt Syndicate for the AEW Tag Team Championship.
Also announced, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley will have a face-to-face on next week’s Dynamite before they square off on opposite sides of a Lights Out steel cage match at Forbidden Door.
