AEW Dynamite Live Results: MJF, Hangman Page decide stipulations for AEW Revolution
AEW Dynamite tonight takes place at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado.
Five matches and one segment are confirmed for the show.
Hangman Page and AEW World Champion MJF will decide their stipulations for AEW Revolution.
Also scheduled is Orange Cassidy vs. Gabe Kidd. Jon Moxley will face El Clon of The Don Callis Family as he continues to prepare for defending the Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution.
Brody King and Mark Davis will meet in singles action.
A Mile High Madness Anything Goes 10-man tag team match is also set, with Jack Perry, The Rascalz, and The Young Bucks taking on FTR and The Demand.
The AEW World Tag Team titles will be on the line as The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) defend against Mega Bad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford).

AEW Dynamite comes on the air with Excalibur welcoming us alongside Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness, running down tonight’s card. Pre-recorded comments from Babes of Wrath saying they’ll bill MegaBad for the wrath that’s coming for their ass. MegaBad said Grand Slam Australia was a warning, but tonight, they’ll bow down and stay down. We then see footage of Collision last week and FTR’s heinous actions against The Jackson Family. FTR said it’s The Young Bucks who put their hands on Stokely first. The Bucks said piledriving Malachai Jackson made this personal. FTR said whatever happens tonight, is The Bucks’ fault during Mile High Madness.
Jon Moxley vs. El Clon in an AEW Continental Title Eliminator
(Another week, another Callis Family member checked off the list and another excellent back and forth battle. We don’t get to see Clon all that often in singles action, but he makes sure to make those efforts pretty darn great. Moxley knows the road leads to Takeshita in what should undoubtedly be a potential show stealer come Revolution.)
Renee Paquette is ringside saying this is another massive moment for someone to make their name against a standard bearer in AEW. She called Moxley one of the constants in pro wrestling and can adapt to any style, asking Marina Shafir about the origin of the pre-match slap. Shafir said there is no pain in it, only joy. Commentary talked about Clon’s perfect record against Death Riders, but that’s only two 6-man tags, as this is his first singles match against anyone in that crew.
Series of standing switches and headlocks kick things off, as it was a much slower pace than you’d expect out the gate, especially from Clon. Moxley no sells shoulder blocks, so Clon hit a spin kick to the ribs and roll through into a cazadora arm drag into a dropkick. Clon played to the crowd too long and suffered getting his nogging smashed into the commentary table, as Moxley teed off with punches against the LED board. Back inside, flip-out suplex gets a near fall for Moxley, who works a Rings of Saturn until Clon got the ropes. Moxley lit up Clon with corner chops, much to the delight of the crowd, until Clon dodged and tried some of his own, choking Moxley with the tag rope. Referee Paul Turner took his sweet time on the 5-count, as Clon hit a heel kick to the face and snap suplex. Missing a Lionsault, Moxley rolled outside, tried to create space, but was met with a Clon low Tope and Moonsault off the LED board heading to break.
It was all Clon during break, until Moxley blasted Clon trying another low Tope, delivering a Curb Stomp on the apron, as we’re told 10-minutes have passed. Clon beat the count, but was clotheslined right back out, giving Moxley a chance to hit his own Tope Suicida. Clon fought back with a spin kick that appeared to catch Moxley low, as he tried a head of steam, only got decked with a King Kong Lariat. Stalling Piledriver connects, but Clon got a shoulder up. Boot up in the corner by Clon, who tried a pose out of a float over, but got caught in a Rear Naked Choke. Clon escaped into a Bicycle Kick, followed by an insane one-legged springboard Moonsault from the top to the floor. Clon wanted a springboard back inside, but Moxley got just enough of a Cutter for the double down.
Both men popped up at the same time and duked it out, until Moxley tried a Curb Stomp, but Clon used the momentum to vault out and hit a combo. 5-minutes remaining, as Clon went up top and hit the double stomp for the closest near fall of the match. Clon wanted the Portal Bomb, but Moxley managed to spin into a Paradigm Shift. Quickly to his feet, Moxley drove it home with a Death Rider for the win.

Swerve Strickland Explains His Actions
Footage of Swerve Strickland post-match attack last week in his match with Kenny Omega was shown. For those who didn’t catch Collision, we’re told Strickland was fined $100,000 for his actions.
Prince Nana walks out to commentary and asks if they think Strickland cares about getting a week off, ordering them to clear from the table, calling them all stupid fools. Nana introduces Strickland, who stands tall on the commentary table. Strickland asked if the sickos missed him, as he said he figured they’d enjoy what he did to Omega last week, while some don’t, as that’s what happens when something happens to your favorites. Strickland brings up the reinforced table this week, as he’s met with Kenny chants. Strickland feels no guilt, he warned Omega, who got in his path to the AEW Championship and had the nerve to call someone else (Brody King) the most dangerous man in AEW. By defeating Omega, Strickland is back in line for a title shot, he’s a man of his word, he put Omega down. Omega not only challenged him as a man, but as a threat. He’s another EVP he took down and not want in their problems anymore. Strickland made a killing taking down The Elite and goes back to All In Texas, when he talked to Hangman Adam Page about the word regret. Page asked if he regrets what he did to get to the World Title, Strickland said he did, but realized that was the most successful point of his career. From this point forward, no more regrets, so a warning to the AEW roster, everyone is on notice, anyone can get clipped if Strickland chooses so. He’ll remind them who the most dangerous man in AEW still is.
-Brody King is backstage with Bandido and said he has a problem with Strickland claiming he deserves to be the next AEW Champion. Tonight, King gets Mark Davis and he’s going to prove why he’s next in line for an AEW World Title shot.

Orange Cassidy vs. Gabe Kidd
(I said it last week, but Darby Allin continues to be the thorn in the side of the War Dogs and despite Kidd getting the much-needed win tonight, it was Allin who stood tall yet again. I think it’s safe to say it’s only a matter of time until this match is official for Revolution, whether it’s a tag match including Cassidy & Connors remains to be seen.)
Hilarious hand drawn Missing signs of Roderick Strong offering a $15 gift card reward as to his whereabouts were shown, as we haven’t seen Strong since he walked out on him a few weeks ago (unless you’ve watched the latest Close Up with Renee Paquette on YouTube). Kidd charged at the opening bell, tried a beal, but Cassidy got a backslide and cradle for a few near falls. Cassidy floated over in the corner and took Kidd from corner to corner, but Kidd put on the brakes and smashed his own head into the turnbuckle, showing no effect. Cassidy missed a spinning DDT and ate a right hand to the jaw for two, as Kidd was in control heading to break, as he told the camera that there’s no end for Darby Allin until he’s left pushing up daisies.
Kidd controlled most of the action during break, as Cassidy again tried his spinning DDT, but was just tossed to the outside, landing hard. Cassidy played cat and mouse outside, before hitting a Stundog Millionaire back inside, following up with an Elbow Suicida and top rope diving DDT for two. Kidd fought off Beach Break into a sunset flip, allowing Cassidy to roll through into a PK and finally hitting his spinning DDT, kipping up and signaling for the finish. Orange Punch attempted, but Kidd popped Cassidy in mid-air with a forearm and high stack powerbomb before planting Cassidy with a Backdrop Driver. Kidd tried the bounce back lariat once, Cassidy hit a right hand, causing Kidd to bounce back again, successfully hitting the lariat for the reset.
Both slug it out on their knees (and by both, I mean Cassidy threw light shots that ramped up the crowd), until Kidd spat in his face, resulting in a quick Beach Break by Cassidy for two. Cassidy lept for Orange Punch, but Kidd pulled referee Bryce in the way. Cassidy pulled back before contact, allowing Kidd to get a thumb to the eyes and big piledriver for the win.
Post-match, Kidd called out Clark Connors, who rushed to the ring and the attack on Cassidy was on. That was, until Darby Allin ran out with his skateboard, cracking Kidd in the throat with it. Allin rolled the skateboard to Connors, who went to pick it up, but got suckered into a Code Red. Kidd tried an attack, but suffered an ollie off the second to the back, causing the War Dogs to retreat.
Match Result: Gabe Kidd defeated Orange Cassidy
-Commentary talked about Thekla winning the AEW Women’s Title a few weeks ago and injuries Kris Statlander suffered, as she was just cleared today. We’re told Thunder Rosa will face Thekla next week for the Women’s Title after winning her match against Julia Hart on Collision last week.
Renee Paquette is backstage with Statlander & Rosa, who interrupts and said she doesn’t have time with Thekla’s games, as the title she’s holding was built by women like Rosa. Statlander again tells her to be careful, as Rosa questions if she thinks she can do this? Rosa issues a challenge to a tag match on Collision with her & Statlander vs. Sisters of Sin. Rosa said she doesn’t need to be careful, as she walks off, Paquette asks why Statlander is so adamant about Rosa being so careful? Statlander just shook her head and walked away.
Kevin Knight vs. Mansoor
Footage of Knight’s recent wins in singles and trios action is shown prior to this match. Mansoor gets in his poses early on and tries to touch tips with Knight (you read that right), as Knight hit an atomic drop and dropkick that left Mansoor scrambling to the ramp, as he tripped getting back into the ring. Mansoor raked the eyes and hit a neckbreaker before planting Knight with a Manhattan Drop/Spinebuster combo. Mansoor missed a huge Moonsault, allowing Knight to hit a kick and springing hurricanrana from the corner. Pendulum DDT spiked Mansoor, as Knight went up and hit the UFO Splash for the quick win.
Post-match, Knight took the mic and said that felt good for Mr. Too Fly in the Mile High City. Knight said Hangman Page is going to wipe the floor with MJF’s ass no matter the stipulation for Revolution and says when Page wins the title, he hopes to be the first challenger for that title. Knight said he knows that might be pre-mature, but not only is he the future, but the here and now. This was a good quick showcase and promo from Knight.

MJF & Hangman Page Set Stipulations to AEW World Title Match at Revolution
Tony Schiavone is in the ring for the introductions and brings up if Page loses at Revolution, regardless of the stipulation, he’ll no longer be able to challenge for the AEW Men’s World Title. MJF immediately told the crowd to shut their mouths when a champion is talking and said last week, Page was bold in saying he’s never challenge for the World Title again. While Page is brave and bold, he’s not a historian, as MJF said this will be the second time he’s ended someone’s AEW career. Before talking about his stipulation, he wants to throw his gum into the garbage (throwing it into the crowd). MJF said he has a quarter, if it’s tails, Page gets his Texas Death Match, heads, MJF gets The One Way No Disqualification Match. Meaning, MJF can do whatever the hell he wants, where if Page so much as looks a weapon, he’ll be DQ’d. MJF is curious if Page is the hypocrite MJF thinks he is, are you a cowboy or a coward?
Page ponders briefly before agreeing, which delighted MJF. Before MJF flips the coin, Page said he wants MJF to know that Texas Death would change him. Who would MJF be if Page drug him through glass, tearing the flesh of his body, or a strand of barbed wire, cramming it between his lips, tearing his mouth and tongue apart. Who would MJF be if his usual tricks mean nothing? For years, MJF called himself The Devil, but this hell is Page’s and if it’s Texas Death, MJF doesn’t stand a chance. Page could agree to MJF’s dogsh*t match, but if he challenges for the World Title for what could be the last time, he wants it to be definitive. If Page can’t beat a piece of sh*t like MJF, he doesn’t deserve to challenge for the title. Page know Max, but he feels like a lucky shot tonight, so flip the coin. MJF said he’s feeling lucky, too and flips the coin. It’s heads and MJF orders Schiavone to make it official, it’s The One Way No Disqualification Match.
MJF walks off smug and Page demands the quarter, which MJF said he doesn’t owe him a damn thing. JetSpeed, Brody King & Bandido walk out and Page said he’s not a dumbass, as King grabs the coin from MJF and gives it to Page. MJF yells that they could use a different coin, as Page proves that it’s rigged. Schiavone said he’s getting word from Tony Khan that the match at Revolution will officially be a Texas Death Match. MJF buckles to a knee, as Page has a smirk as he walked up the ramp, staring MJF down, as Max is met with You F’d Up chants.
-Excalibur brings up prior to our upcoming Women’s Tag Title match about the new tag team that debuted last week, The Brawling Birds. We go backstage to Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor, who said they beat the piss out of those two and said it’s no skin off their noses. They aren’t here to shake hands and have a jolly old time, they’re here to beat the piss out of people. They’re The Birds, they don’t give a flying f*ck. They walk off to enjoy a pint.
Babes of Wrath (TBS Champion Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) vs. MegaBad (Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford w/Lena Kross) for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles
(This absolutely felt like an audible, as I really hope Penelope Ford is ok, but we never saw what officially injured her. This ending came out of nowhere and felt super flat, as I wonder if we were supposed to get new champions tonight? The match was going good, until the ending just, happened.)
Bayne & Nightingale slug it out early, trading shoulder block attempts, until Nightingale got the upper hand. Both float over bodyslam attempts, until Ford made a blind tag and we get a big boot/schoolgirl combo for two. Nightingale uses her power to send Ford to the corner for clotheslines, until Cameron makes a blind tag leading to a low cross body/running knee combo before a piggy back senton squished Bayne. MegaBad was sent to the outside, where the brawl continued with the crowd loudly chanting for the Tag Champions. Bayne clocked Cameron off the apron and took out the Babes of Wrath with an Elbow Suicida, while Ford followed suit with a Moonsault off the top, as MegaBad was in firm control heading to break.
Cameron was worked over almost the entire commercial, until she hit a desperation DDT, as Nightingale made a hot tag, planting Bayne with a huge spinebuster. Bayne fought off a DVD, tried Fate’s Decent, but Nightingale countered into a release German to the outside, following up with a cannonball off the apron. Back inside, Nightingale tried the Doctor Bomb, but Bayne backed her into the corner, when Lena Kross came in and decked Nightingale with a Tag Title for the DQ. McGuinness tells us Ford is hurt and down ringside, we missed what happened to her (I believe the moonsault she hit might’ve been it), as it’s Kross & Bayne that stood tall. We never saw Ford again during the match.
Match Result: Babes of Wrath defeated MegaBad via disqualification to retain the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles

Brody King vs. Mark Davis (w/Don Callis)
(If you like seeing two massive dudes beating the hell out of each other, this was right up your alley. To the surprise of no one, these two were throwing bombs out the gate and this was a great return match for King to get back on the winning track after Grand Slam. The post-match was interesting, as Davis was rushed rather quickly to the back and I really hope he’s ok and we didn’t get back-to-back matches with injuries. While Bandido seems to have his challenge for Revolution answered by Andrade, at this moment, we’re still waiting to hear if Swerve Strickland answered King’s.)
Callis joined commentary and agreed that Davis is his grizzly bear. Like two bulls, both collide with shoulder tackles before trading loud chops. Davis staggered first, opting to go to the eyes repeatedly before slamming King down, only to miss a senton, but King connected with his attempt. King charged to the corner and Davis just sat on him before waffling King with a sliding forearm. We get a dueling F*ck Don Callis/F*ck ICE Too! chant from the Denver crowd, as Davis was planted with a Death Valley Driver. Davis went outside, but it was a ploy, as King charged for a dive, but was clobbered before takeoff, putting Davis in control during commercial.
We return to a slugfest ensuing, as both switched to clothesline attempts until King turned it into a Black Hole Slam and follow-up Tope Suicida. Davis fought back, sending King into the barricade, but missed a charge, allowing King to hit a cross body against the LED board. Back inside, King connected on his corner cannonball, wanted a DVD, but Davis slipped out into a Sleeper. Callis ordered Davis slump over on top to make King carry the weight, but King escaped and stomped the injured hand of Davis. Short arm lariats traded until Davis ducked into a release German. Davis missed a home run shot, as King hit a Backdrop Driver, but Davis popped up and trucked King with a lariat into the reset. Davis missed his sprinting lariat, as King answered with multiple lariats of his own, with the last one, swinging for the fences and getting the win.
Post-match, Bandido came to the ring to celebrate with King, as the doctor seemingly took Davis to the back rather quickly, as he was on his way backstage before Callis could even get to him, so I really hope he’s not injured. King took the mic and told Swerve Strickland to look in his eye, he’s the most dangerous man in AEW and said at Revolution, his backyard, he’s looking for a fight. Strickland & Nana were watching backstage and walked off, as Bandido took the mic and said he wants a fight, too. Andrade El Idolo’s music hit and out he came with Callis by his side, as it looks like Bandido’s challenge has been answered with Andrade staring him down.
Match Result: Brody King defeated Mark Davis
-Renee Paquette is backstage with TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and said there’s not a lot of time for celebrating and brings up Tomasso Ciampa saying that title is his. Fletcher said to be careful what you wish for, as you stepped foot in the ring against the best and came up short. This Silvy isn’t coming back to Ciampa anytime soon, as Pinky is staying with the greatest TNT Champion of all time. Kazuchika Okada walks in and said they’ve both been consistent champions, unlike Takeshita. Okada says he considers Fletcher his best friend and said on Collision, they should team up for the first time ever as ProtOkada. Fletcher smirks and accepts, as they shake hands.

Jungle Jack Perry, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) vs. AEW Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler w/Stokely) & The Demand (AEW National Champion Ricochet, Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) in an Anything Goes Mile High Madness
(This was the TV version of Anarchy in the Arena and delivered the action in droves. I kept up as much as I possibly could, but my goodness was there a lot of moving parts, much to the delight of the crowd. The finish was a needed win to give Perry some credibility to get another National Title shot, especially after his last two attempts were filled with interference. Everyone got a chance to shine in this and the crowd played a huge part as well; they were there every second of it. This ranks right up there with most chaotic main events in Dynamite history.)
Perry made his entrance, but was attacked by the entire heel team, with Ricochet going up top to put Perry out for good when he was saved by The Young Bucks. Tarzan Boy continued to play, with 3-camera shot and chaos galore. I’ll try my best to keep up, as The Rascalz sprinted out with Wentz clearing the top with a Tornillo onto Ricochet. The Bucks & FTR brawl into the crowd, where Harwood took a drink of beer, but ate a thrust kick as a result. Stokely was up in the stands and unmasked himself, as Wheeler used him as a battering ramp to send Nick down the steps. Matt continues cracking Harwood with a chair to the back, as The Demand keep brawling with The Rascalz & Perry as the crowd sings along to Perry’s theme, which stopped briefly, but started up again. Perry hit a baseball slide cazadora hurricanrana on Liona and leaping DDT to Ricochet, but was launched by a charging Kaun dropkick and cleared the barricade over the time keepers table by a Liona Pounce.
Kaun ate a superkick from Nick, but Liona side stepped a moonsault off the barricade and was press slammed back over it. Tarzan Boy stops, as The Rascalz & GOA slug it out with chair shots before we go back to The Bucks & FTR in the crowd. We finally get to the ring, where The Demand have numbers on The Rascalz, as a double hip toss slam to Xavier put The Demand controlling the ring into commercial.
Back from break, Liona pressed Xavier one handed over his head by the stage, but Myron Reed made the save, spraying Liona with a fire extinguisher and hit a running start leaping Cutter on Kaun. Enzugiri cracked Harwood, as Wheeler took a shot too, but as he tried a huge dive onto FTR, he was caught and planted face first onto the commentary table. Perry flew in with a dive of his own, wiping out FTR, as he grabbed a vacuum cleaner under the ring and cracked Harwood with it before whacking Liona in the head with it, causing smoke to fly. Ricochet & Kaun made the save, as they went for a Doomsday Device on Perry, but Matt chucked a trash can into Ricochet’s face mid-flight. The Bucks hit their assisted Sliced Bread on Kaun before waffling him with a trash can, as well.
The Bucks set up Ricochet for the Flippity Dippity Drop onto the trash can, as Matt placed it onto Ricochet, as Nick hit a Senton Atomico for a two count. FTR interrupts and try taking a powder, but The Rascalz were there to send them back in and eat a Superkick Party. Liona returned and hit The Bucks with a double suplex from the apron back inside before trying a Samoan Drop Strongest Slam on The Bucks, but The Rascalz made the save with Perry and Liona ate a 5-way Superkick. The Bucks take out a pile outside, leaving Xavier on top to hit a wild Shooting Star Press onto them all as well. Perry wanted a piledriver on Liona, but he was backdropped over the top, crashing through a table that must’ve gotten set-up during commercial. Wentz flew in with a dropkick on Liona, before lighting up Harwood with a kick combo, as Wheeler took a release German. Kaun charged and ate a combo of strkes, until Liona returned and headbutt him in mid-air off a handspring attempt. Xavier leapt off the top, but was swatted like a fly, as The Demand hit a corner triple attack before Harwood & Kaun hit a double superplex, Wheeler hit a top rope splash, Kaun with a top rope headbutt and Ricochet caps it off with a springboard 450 Splash, but all the babyfaces broke the count with the crowd going nuts.
Wentz & Ricochet tumble outside, as FTR tries a Spike Piledriver on Matt, but he swept out the legs into a slingshot, crotching Wheeler in the process. Nick quickly up and hit a top rope hurricanrana on Wheeler, as Harwood spiked Nick with a DDT, while Matt followed with one of his own. Ringside, The Rascalz hit a double Spanish Fly off the LED board on Ricochet through a table to a rightful Holy Sh*t chant. Back inside, The Rascalz hit a combo of strikes on Kaun, but Liona made the save until The Bucks sent him to the apron and Perry few in with sunset flip/assisted double superkick, crashing Liona through the table. Harwood tried to steal it with a school boy for two, as Matt dodged Shatter Machine, sent Harwood outside, as The Bucks launched Wheeler through the ropes onto his partner through the last remaining table. In the ring, Hot Fire Flame hit on Kaun, Perry flew in with a Destroyer, as The Bucks hit a BTE Trigger and assisted Sacrifice Knee from Perry to get the win and pin on Ricochet.
