AEW Dynamite Preview: Confirmed matches and segments (05-12-2026)

AEW Dynamite Triangle of Madness vs Brawling Birds Hikaru Shida

AEW Dynamite takes place tonight from Asheville, North Carolina, at Harrah’s Cherokee Center. Several matches and segments have already been confirmed for the broadcast on TBS and HBO Max at 8 ET/ 7 CT.

The main event will see Darby Allin put his AEW Championship on the line against Don Callis Family member Konosuke Takeshita. Allin was originally scheduled to face Kazuchika Okada, but the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion had to return to Japan for family reasons, so Takeshita will be taking his place just days after Darby retained his title at AEW Fairway To Hell against PAC.

MJF will also be addressing the Hair vs Title challenge that Darby put to him for the Double or Nothing PPV and Kevin Knight will be holding a TNT Title Open Challenge for the Wednesday night broadcast.
