AEW Dynamite ratings down against World Cup coverage

Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 616,000 viewers on TBS, down 7.4% from the previous week. It’s the second lowest audience for the show since May 20th.

Dynamite averaged a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 16.7% from last week and ties the second lowest rating the show has done in that category since April 29th.

The show went head to head with a World Cup soccer game on FOX that averaged 6.457 million viewers and a 1.92 rating in the 18-49 demo and another game on FS1 that topped the cable charts with 2.243 million viewers and a 0.89 18-49 rating. Dynamite tied for 12th in 18-49 on the primetime cable charts and finished 17th in terms of total viewers on cable for the night.

As compared to the same week in 2025 the overall viewership was up 0.5% while the 18-49 rating was down 33.3%.
