AEW Dynamite ratings down, falls below one-million viewer mark

Dynamite finished fourth on the cable charts in the 18-49 demo.

Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite averaged 983,000 viewers on TBS, down 5.3 percent from last week. It's the lowest audience total for the show since August 17.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished fourth on the cable charts with a 0.32 rating, down three percent from last week. It's Dynamite's lowest rating in that category since the same August 17 episode.

The show went head-to-head with an MLB playoff game on FS1 that averaged more than three million viewers and drew a 0.81 rating in 18-49.

Dynamite's ratings were down from last week in most categories, but the show did have a big increase with females 12-34, which were up 41.7 percent to a 0.17 rating. It's one of Dynamite's better ratings of the year in that demo. The drops were fairly steady across the board, ranging from 2-5 percent.

As compared with the same week in 2021, Dynamite's overall viewership was up 35.2 percent and its 18-49 rating was up 14.3 percent. But Dynamite was moved to Saturday night for two weeks at this time last year due to the opening of the NHL season. It's the first week since July where Dynamite has had a year-over-year increase.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite. This week's show was down 3.8 percent in viewers and down 5.9 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
