Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite averaged 1.049 million viewers on TBS, up 9.6 percent from last week. It's the largest audience total for the show since February 9.
The episode featured Jon Moxley defeating CM Punk to become the undisputed AEW World Champion. It was Punk's first match back since suffering a foot injury in June.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.34 rating. That's up 13.3 percent from last week and is Dynamite's best rating in the demo since July 6.
Dynamite's ratings were up from last week in every demo. The largest increase came with females 18-49, which were up 31.6 percent to a 0.25 rating.
As compared to the same week in 2021, which featured Punk's first-ever Dynamite appearance, the show was down 10.5 percent in total viewers and down 29.2 percent in 18-49. It's the seventh straight week Dynamite has had a year-over-year decline in both categories.
