AEW Dynamite tops one million viewers, beats WWE Raw in 18-49 demo

The show finished first on cable on Wednesday night.

Wednesday's AEW Dynamite averaged 1.032 million viewers, up 6.5 percent from last week. It's AEW's best viewership number on TBS to date and is the show's best audience since October 6.

Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.44 rating in 18-49, up 12.8 percent from the previous week. The show finished ahead of two NBA games that aired on ESPN, including beating the game it went head-to-head with by 15.8 percent.

Dynamite also beat this week's episode of WWE Raw in the 18-49 demo. Raw drew a 0.43 rating in the category.

Raw went against an NFL playoff game but was up in the demo from last week's episode that had competition from the college football national championship.

Looking at the individual ratings categories for Dynamite, the biggest increase was with women in the 18-49 age group. The show was up 23.1 percent to a 0.32 rating. That matches Dynamite's best number in that category since December of 2020.

Dynamite was up in every demo with the exception of females 12-34, which were even with last week.

As compared to this week in 2021, when the show still had NXT as competition on Wednesday nights, Dynamite was up 20.8 percent in overall viewers and up 22.2 percent in 18-49.
