AEW files to trademark ‘AEW Max Month,’ ‘WrestleMax’

All Elite Wrestling filed for three new trademarks recently.
The trademark applications were filed on Friday, October 25, 2024, and appear to be for an event or series of events related to AEW airing on Max.
According to documents available on the US Patent and Trademark Office website, AEW has filed to trademark “AEW WrestleMax,” “WrestleMax,” and “AEW Max Month.”
All three trademarks are to cover the following goods and services:
“Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through television and the internet”
“Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling; Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks”
All Elite Wrestling, LLC is listed as the owner of the filing, and trademark lawyer Bradley M. Stohry is the attorney of record.
AEW Dynamite and Collision will start streaming live on Max in 2025, while the shows will continue to air on TBS and TNT, respectively. Beginning in 2025, AEW pay-per-view events will also be available on Max at a “discounted price per event.”
