AEW files to trademark tag team name
AEW has filed to trademark the tag team name of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
All Elite Wrestling, LLC filed to trademark the term “MegaBad” for wrestling and entertainment purposes with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Bayne and Ford were listed in match graphics as MegaBad on Wednesday’s Dynamite. They have also previously teamed under the name Top Gods, and Bayne has teamed with Marina Shafir under the name The MegaProblems.
The purposes of the filing are listed as: “Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wresting exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a tag team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a tag team of professional wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a tag team of professional wrestlers.”
AEW’s attorney on record for the filing is Bradley M. Stohry.
On Wednesday’s Dynamite, MegaBad defeated the Women’s World Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, in an Eliminator match. A title match between MegaBad and Babes of Wrath has since been scheduled for AEW Grand Slam Australia.
Bayne and Ford have been teaming together since March 2025 and are 3–0 so far in 2026.
