AEW House Rules results from Brisbane, Australia

AEW held a house show in Brisbane, Australia one day after Grand Slam Australia.

Spoilers from the show were posted to Reddit.

AEW House Rules Brisbane Results:

  1. Wheeler Yuta defeated Adam Brooks
    • Yuta covered his freshly bald head with a beanie
    • He won after countering a Swanton Bomb and hitting a Busaiku Knee
    • Yuta cut a promo after the match and said nobody would take the beanie off his head, which brought out Mark Briscoe for an impromptu match
  2. Mark Briscoe defeated Wheeler Yuta
    • Briscoe removed Yuta’s beanie during the match, which got a strong crowd reaction
    • He won with the Jay Driller
    • After the match, Briscoe tried to throw the beanie into the crowd, but Yuta snatched it back
  3. The IInspiration defeated Aysha and Frankie P
    • The match was short
    • The IInspiration addressed the crowd afterward, said they were All Elite, and issued an open challenge to any team in the back
    • The Brawling Birds came out, but The IInspiration left the ring area
  4. Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor defeated Charli Evans and Kyla Knight
    • The Brawling Birds used the Hart Attack as their finisher
  5. Hangman Page, Brody King, and Robbie Eagles defeated Aussie Open and MJF
    • Robbie Eagles scored the pinfall on Mark Davis
  6. AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) defeated Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) and MegaBad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) to retain their titles
    • A false finish saw Ford appear to pin Cameron while Cameron’s foot was on the rope
    • Lena Kross, who was in MegaBad’s corner, pushed Cameron’s foot off the rope
    • The match was restarted, and Harley pinned Ford shortly after
  7. The Outrunners defeated The Velocities
    • Dalton Castle was brought out after the match to celebrate with The Outrunners
    • Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita then came out, leading to an impromptu match
  8. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Dalton Castle
  9. Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy defeated Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir
    • Wheeler Yuta ran out during the match and attacked Storm
    • Mina Shirakawa and Mark Briscoe ran in, stole Yuta’s beanie, and chased him to the back
    • Storm hit a piledriver on Shafir to score the win
    • After the match, Storm brought out several of AEW’s Australian wrestlers to celebrate in the ring. Clips are available below.Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy defeated Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir
