AEW Rampage ratings down from first episode of 2022

Friday night’s AEW Rampage averaged 526,000 viewers on TNT, down 10.5 percent from the January 7 episode. It’s the second-lowest audience for the show since December 10.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.20 rating and finished 15th on the cable charts. That’s down 16.7 percent from the prior week.

The episode was headlined by Jurassic Express retaining their AEW Tag Team titles against Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds. It also featured Adam Cole vs. Trent Beretta, Shawn Spears vs. Andrew Everett, and a six-woman tag match with Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford & The Bunny facing Kris Statlander, Leyla Hirsch & Red Velvet.

The audience dropped in every individual demo with the exception of two (people over 50 and females 12-34). The biggest drop was with females 18-49, at 18.8 percent, so the drop with women 35-49 was much larger than that.

Listed below are Rampage’s last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo numbers. This week’s show was almost exactly even with the 10-week averages prior to this week in both total audience and the key 18-49 demo.
