AEW Rampage ratings up big, finishes fourth on cable

Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 600,000 viewers on TNT, up 31.6 percent from the previous week. It’s the best audience for the show since January 28.

Rampage finished fourth on cable in the 18-49 demo with a 0.25 rating, which is a 66.7 percent increase from the previous week. That ties the January 28 episode for Rampage’s highest rating of 2022 in the demo.

The show featured a stronger-than-usual lineup that included Jon Moxley facing Wheeler Yuta in the main event. The match received strong reviews when it was taped, which likely contributed to the ratings increase for Rampage.

In the individual ratings categories, the audience increased with every age group with the exception of people over 50, which were down 4.8 percent. The biggest increase came with females 12-34, which had a 333.3 percent increase over the prior week. Rampage went from a record low rating of 0.03 to a 0.13 with females 12-34, which matches the third-highest rating the show has ever done in that category.

Rampage also had a big increase overall in the 18-34 age group, doubling the rating from a 0.08 to a 0.16, with the latter number being the largest for the show since January 21.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for Rampage. This week’s show was up 20.4 percent in viewers and up 31.6 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages in both categories.
