AEW Dynamite live results: All Star tag, TBS title match

AEW’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia continues tonight with Dynamite featuring an All Star eight-man tag, plus a TBS title bout.
AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page teams with Kenny Omega, and JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey on tonight’s episode against The Young Bucks, and Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander of The Don Callis Family. The match stems from a wild angle on last week’s Dynamite involving all of the match’s participants.
The TBS Championship is also on the line on tonight’s episode with Mercedes Mone defending against Alex Windsor. This is the first-ever singles meeting between the two, but Windsor has been in and around the TBS title picture in recent weeks. Windsor and Mone have been on opposite sides of the ring in three different tag team bouts, plus Windsor was part of the four-way TBS title match at Forbidden Door last month where Mone retained in a bout also involving Persephone and Bozilla.

AEW Dynamite comes on the air with Excalibur welcoming us alongside Taz & Tony Schiavone, running down tonight’s card, when they’re interrupted by Gabe Kidd, who tells everyone they’re on his time.
Chaos Kicks Off Dynamite
Kidd got in the ring and said this dump isn’t big enough for Darby Allin to hide in the rafters and right on cue, Allin appears from behind. The fight was on, with Kidd dropping Allin and exposing a corner steel buckle, but had his face rammed into it by Allin. As Allin climbed the ropes, Kidd swept out the legs and Allin crashed hard ribs first into the steel. Kidd was sent into the barricade, but spun back into a hard lariat to plant Allin on the floor. Kidd started jaw jacking with the fans, giving Allin time to hit a Coffin Drop to the outside. Trying a Coffin Splash in the corner, Kidd sank in a Rear Naked Choke, but Allin raked the eyes to get free. Wheeler Yuta appeared, was decked off the apron, as Allin laid out Kidd with a springboard Coffin Splash. Allin grabbed his skateboard covered in tacks, as Yuta tried to cut him off, but Allin hit an Ollie off the second rope with the tacks going into Yuta’s back.
Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Marina Shafir stroll to ringside, but before they could do anything, the lights went out and the H symbol appeared with HOOK’s crooner music playing. HOOK started walking to the ring when The Opps music hit and Samoa Joe & Powerhouse Hobbs rushed by him to the ring, seemingly annoying HOOK, who still brawled with Yuta to the back. Willow Nightingale also appeared, as it’s an all-out brawl ringside between The Opps & Death Riders. Kidd & Allin fought backstage, with Kidd choking Allin, screaming he wanted to see him go unconscious. Kidd swung a hammer wildly and missed, as Allin threw powder into the eyes and choked Kidd out with an ether rag before putting him into a bodybag that was tied to the back of a pickup truck. Taz called Kidd ‘Bodybag Jones’, as Allin drove out of the arena dragging Kidd in tow.
TBS Champion Mercedes Mone vs. Alex Windsor
(An excellent back and forth opener, with Windsor having plenty of chances to try to put this away, but Mone had a counter for every time she tried the Sharpshooter. Mone survived with her title in this one, as the post-match gave us a surprising return in Riho, who we hadn’t seen since July of last year on an episode of Collision. That should be a very fun first time match-up, as Riho certainly appears next in line for the TBS Title.)
Mone was on the attack early, until Windsor dodged a hurricanrana, briefly applying a Half Crab. Mone got free, but Windsor answered with an arm drag and roll through snap dropkick. Briefly getting the Statement Maker, Mone gained control, while Windsor rolled outside, dodging a Meteora, with Mone limping momentarily. The delay allowed a Windsor somersault senton from the apron, as back inside, Windsor connected with a flying clothesline for two. Mone wanted a baseball slide, but Windsor blocked it and got a Sharpshooter using the bottom rope. Breaking before the 5 count, Mone kicked free and managed a powerbomb on the edge of the apron as things went to commercial.
When things return, a misdirect clothesline from Windsor led to the reset, as Windsor was up first with a Russian Leg Sweep for two. Mone kicked free from a Sharpshooter, only to run right into a Blue Thunder Bomb. Sharpshooter successfully applied this time, but Mone pulled the hair to get free (referee Aubrey never admonished Mone for this) as Mone got the Statement Maker. Windsor powered up while still in the hold, allowing Mone to hit a Crucifix Bomb and Backstabber. Mone charged, but ran right into a pop-up powerbomb for the double down, as Justin Roberts said 10 minutes had gone by, 10 remain. With both ladies down and their legs still crossed, Windsor got the Sharpshooter, but this time Mone escaped by picking the ankle, only both held on and tumbled to the floor. Windsor had the Sharpshooter applied and Mone was tapping, but to no avail. Both made it back in before the 10 count, as Windsor went for another diving clothesline, but dove right into a Statement Maker. Mone hit another Backstabber, had a quick delay and that hesitation allowing a desperation Windsor clothesline.
Slug fest ramps up, as Mone tried a Mone Maker, which Windsor hit a headbutt to avoid into a Made in Japan for a close two. This Is Awesome chants ring out in the 2300 Arena, as both go up in the corner, where Mone hit an Iconoclasm into the Statement Maker. Windsor got a finger on the ropes, which should have been the break, but Mone kicked back to the center of the ring. They repeated the spot, Windsor went back for the Sharpshooter, only this time, Mone countered into a roll-up for the flash pin.
Post-match, Mone trash talked Windsor, who offered a handshake, but Mone flipped her off. Windsor was having none of it, tried the Sharpshooter yet again, only to get waffled with the TBS Title. Mone applied the Statement Maker until the music for Riho hit to a huge pop. She flew off the top with a double stomp and sent Mone packing with a charging dropkick in the ropes. Riho grabbed the TBS Title
Match Result: Mercedes Mone defeated Alex Windsor to retain the TBS Title
-Renee Paquette is backstage with Samoa Joe & Powerhouse Hobbs, asking them where HOOK stands with The Opps, which Joe said he’d like to know, too. HOOK walks in and said he didn’t need either of them fighting for him, he’ll fight his own battles. HOOK said they replaced him in The Opps before his body even got cold, he thought it was different than that. Hobbs said he’s always had his back, but Joe said HOOK was right, it was because opportunity came calling. It’s what The Opps does, they take the opportunities. HOOK wasn’t ready and Hobbs stepped up. They didn’t come out to help HOOK tonight, they have their own business to handle. HOOK has every right to be upset, but Joe made the call and HOOK needs to realize at some point, he’ll need their help and they’ll still have his back whether he wants to accept it or not. This was a basic (but necessary) backstage explanation between this group.

-Ricochet said his problems with The Hurt Syndicate predate well before AEW. His issue is for them, it’s business, while for them, it’s personal. The Hurt Syndicate have relied on their past accomplishments, as Toa Liona explodes, saying it’s all they have left, as Ricochet & G.O.A. are the ones who ended their tag title reign and their legacy is next. Ricochet unlike The Hurt Syndicate, they’re not washed up, they’re future is ahead of them. Ricochet demands for them to a match in Toronto saying they’ll stand above them.
-The Hall of Fame banner for Taz was shown raised in the arena. Taz was greatly appreciative of the respect and admiration Tony Khan and everyone in AEW has given him the past few weeks.
Mark Briscoe Wants Answers From Don Callis
Mark Briscoe came to the ring to a big ovation, saying this building is where he & his brother fell in love with professional wrestling and it’s been guns blazing ever since. 2025, Briscoe’s focus is on Kyle Fletcher and the TNT Title and it unfortunately meant he had a conversation with Don Callis. Briscoe said Callis looks like Elton John dressed up like a prosthetic penis for Halloween. In order to get a TNT Title shot, Callis said he’d have to defeat one of his henchmen, so let’s get this going.
Callis walked out with Rocky Romero & Lance Archer in tow, as Callis has something important to say. Callis knows Briscoe is impatient to get his answer, but he’s a little busy getting Fletcher & Josh Alexander ready for the main event tonight. Callis said Briscoe’s match will take place this Saturday on Collision against Konosuke Takeshita, who made his way to the ring and had a face-off with Briscoe. Callis went to leave with his Family, when Briscoe said he’d see Mr. Takeshita on Saturday, but wants to fight right now. Archer came to the ring and Briscoe charged, as a referee soon followed and the match was official. The best line in this came with Tony Schiavone saying how lean Takeshita looked, but Taz pointed out that Takeshita was wearing a shirt.
Mark Briscoe vs. Lance Archer (w/Rocky Romero)
Briscoe immediately fought free from the choke slam clutches, sent Archer to the outside and hit a baseball slide. Briscoe charged again, but leapt into the hands of Archer, who hit a choke slam on the apron. Rocky Romero distracted the referee, as Archer turned the steps on their side and choke slammed Briscoe onto them as things went to commercial.
Back from break, Briscoe fought his way back into it, but Archer never budged off shoulder blocks. Briscoe changed strategies, clocked Archer with a clothesline over the top and somersault suicida to follow. Back inside, Archer avoided a Jay Driller with a back drop and buckle bomb before flattening Briscoe with another choke slam for two. Archer wanted a Black Out, but Briscoe fought free into a shotgun dropkick for the double down. Thrust chops from Briscoe, who went up top, only to be cut off, as Archer wanted an avalanche choke slam, but Briscoe bit free into a gnarly looking sunset bomb, planting Archer awkwardly on his shoulder. Froggy Bow connected and Briscoe got the win.
Match Result: Mark Briscoe defeated Lance Archer
-Earlier today, Timeless Toni Storm was in the empty 2300 Arena saying she wants the attention of the Philadelphia freaks. Insanity is relative, so she promises to be the most batshit bitch to piss in this sink. Storm is a woman in search of her murder, a character in search of a plot. No belt collector or forever champion could take the AEW Women’s Title from her, so she’s begging for any woman to play the role in the greatest show on earth. Not to worry, God doesn’t judge, that’s Storm’s job.

-Renee Paquette is backstage with Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron, who was upset her face was still busted up last week, despite wearing a face mask. Statlander said the wrath wasn’t in the mask, the wrath was inside her all along. Cameron said they’re undefeated as a team and called out Brodido. Statlander said it’s better they stick with Ford & Bayne and Triangle of Madness like they talked about. Wheeler Yuta walked in (Cameron hissed at him and he told her to put the claws away) saying and the Death Riders has her back. Cameron said you can tell you that if anyone is looking out for them, it’s themselves (catch all of that?). Marina Shafir joined and Statlander said for them to tell our friend that she got his message. Yuta said he’ll relay it before leaving, saying he’s pretty tough after everything he’s been through tonight, as Cameron said they seem fun. Harley Cameron continues to be a highlight in everything she does.
Brodido (Brody King & ROH Champion Bandido) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta w/Marina Shafir) for the AEW Tag Team Titles
(A very solid first title defense for Brodido, who continue to impress as a team all of us never saw coming at the start of this year. Yuta & Castagnoli always have good tag team chemistry, so they were a strong first challengers for the title. Once again, the plans of the Death Riders blow up in their faces thanks to Darby Allin, who promised to bring everything down.)
After a quick opening exchange with Bandido & Yuta, it turned into an all out slugfest between Castagnoli & King, who were throwing absolute bombs. King avoided the Giant Swing and hit an assisted cazadora slam by Bandido and follow-up senton. Bandido started doing the Macarena, which King politely declined doing, as the fans (and myself) were bummed he didn’t do, as it got a Macarena chant. Bandido connected with a wildly impressive stalling vertical suplex on Castagnoli before going up top for a dive, only to be caught with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Castagnoli launched Bandido to the floor and Yuta pounced as things went to commercial.
Bandido was worked over the entire break, as Yuta planted him with an Angle Slam for two as things returned. F Wheeler Yuta chants from the fans, as Castagnoli decked King off the apron with a big boot. That delay, led to an attempted Dragon Rana from Bandido, who was caught, only to counter the counter into a Code Red in a crazy spot. King made the hot tag and came out swinging before sandwiching Yuta & Castagnoli in the corner, following with a double cannonball. Wild Bandido hurricanrana on his own partner, that sent King doing a cannonball onto Castagnoli, as Bandido followed up with a Frog Splash attempt, but crashed and burned.
Yuta made the tag, but so did King, as Brodido hit a double chop to the back of Yuta, who commentary reminded us took tacks to the back earlier in the night by Darby Allin. They lined up their monkey flip 450, but Shafir tripped up Bandido, allowing Castagnoli to mow him down with an uppercut and brawl. Shafir ran distraction on referee Bryce, giving Jon Moxley a chance to show up and post King. Fastball Special connected on Bandido, who kicked out at two. Giant Swing on Bandido, as Yuta hit the mid-revolution dropkick, only this time King lunged to break the count. Castagnoli took the ref, as Moxley stalked King, as Darby Allin sprinted out and brawled with him ringside. King waffled Castagnoli with a roundhouse forearm, as Yuta ate one as well, as he was placed in the exact right spot for Bandido to his the 21-Plex and win the match.
Post-match, Moxley & Castagnoli chased Allin out of the arena, as Brodido stood tall with their titles.
Match Result: Brodido defeated Death Riders to retain the AEW Tag Team Titles when Bandido pinned Yuta
-Renee Paquette is in the parking lot with Kazuchika Okada and brought up the tension between Konosuke Takeshita & himself. Okada said Takeshita calls himself The Alpha, but Okada is The Rainmaker, the top dog of the Don Callis Family, bitch.

-Renee Paquette is outside of the arena with The Hurt Syndicate, as MVP questioned what happened to Ricochet? He used to be an excited young wrestler, but turned into a kiss ass, a whiny hater leading to a bad example for the two young lions in the Gates of Agony. MVP wants them to not let Ricochet turn their careers into a punchline. MVP said he saw Ricochet say they’ll learn to respect them, but The Hurt Syndicate doesn’t ask for respect, they command it. They accept Ricochet’s challenge, as MVP looks forward to lacing up his boots and punching Ricochet in his disrespectful bitch made mouth. In Toronto, they will Hurt them. Lashley & MVP walk off, as Benjamin sticks around briefly to tell Paquette it’s been a pleasure.
Adam Copeland made his way out for his promo segment with Christian Cage, but was attacked by FTR before Cage made his entrance. The boots were put on Copeland, as Cage hit the ring and evened the playing field. Security rushed out to separate all four men, but they got beat up as a result. Dax Harwood was busted open by Cage during the brawl, as a huge group of wrestlers (we’re told were ROH talent) ran out to finally get them separated. Jordan Oliver was one of them and ate a Spike Piledriver for his troubles. Adam Priest was another and was pie-faced by Harwood, so he started firing up and the crowd started chanting for Priest. Excalibur brought up FTR wrestling Priest & JD Drake on a recent Collision, so there’s history there.
-Video package for Daniel Garcia vs. Jon Moxley this Saturday on Collision is shown
**********
-FTR & Stokely were backstage and said the next time Copeland or Cage put their hands on Stokely, it’ll be a reckoning. Harwood screams to Adam Priest off screen, who apologized for getting fired up, as Wheeler badmouthed him that he’s a nobody looking at somebodies. Wheeler told Priest to get his gear and a partner, this Saturday, they’ll make him somebody. Stokely told Priest to get his bitch ass out of here.
AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Speedball Mike Bailey) vs. TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
(This was one hell of a party match main event and I thought there was many directions they could go until the post-match, where it looks like they wrote off Omega for at least a little while. The rumors were that Omega is really banged up and needs some time off and while you could argue the stretcher job is done too much lately, this certainly got over Kyle Fletcher as a massive heel. While the current direction is Fletcher vs. Briscoe, this set up a future Fletcher & Omega clash and also Fletcher & Page if they ever choose as well.)
The Bucks made their entrance with the name graphic reading “These Guys Again?”, but they did get their old EVP entrance music. Earlier in the day, an insulted Matt & Nick were forced to take part in a Meet & Greet that was $20 for a photo and 8×10. Meanwhile, this was the first time Page & Omega have teamed together since All In London 2023. Page & Alexander kick things off with a back and forth until Fletcher got a cheap shot to the back. Page landed on his feet off an attempted German Suplex by Alexander, booting him in the face, but was blindsided by Fletcher. Omega ran in and the match completely broke down early, with all 4 babyfaces hitting quadruple slingshot cross body blocks to the floor. Back inside, Alexander was lit up by Omega & Page chops, as things went to commercial with JetSpeed in the driver’s seat.
During the break, Omega found himself worked over, but made the hot tag to Bailey, who ran wild momentarily before Alexander hit a release German Suplex. Nick made the tag, but ate a missile dropkick for his troubles, with Knight tagging in. Lighting quick offense from Knight, who hit a huge dropkick, but Nick got the knees up on the splash. Matt tagged in for the rolling Northern Lights, but Knight countered the third into a Tornado DDT and double down. Page tagged in and immediately planted Matt with a Fall Away Slam, as Alexander ate a springboard lariat. Fletcher tagged in, but Omega & Page hit a snazzy pop-up German. Alexander saved Fletcher from a V-Trigger/Buckshot, as Fletcher wiped out Omega with a dive. Fletcher returned, charged at Page, who flattened the TNT Champion with a high stack pop-up powerbomb for the reset.
Bailey lit up Alexander with rapid fire kicks, PK and somersault double knees, but as he went for Time Adventure, Alexander countered with rolling Germans. They both went to the apron, where Bailey swept out the leg, tried his backflip double knees, but no one home, as Alexander squashed Bailey with a running cross body. To the barricade they went, as Alexander wanted a piledriver, but Knight leapt off the top with a clothesline. Bailey was pulled off the barricade by Matt, as Nick quickly sprung into the ring with a TK Driver on Knight, who was held by Fletcher and then one on Bailey on the floor as the match went to a second commercial.
Back from break, Bailey took a double stomp bounce back powerbomb by The Bucks for two, as Excalibur called it the MMMBop Drop. Nick tried a Swanton, but Bailey got the knees up and finally made the hot tag to Omega after spiking Alexander with a Poison Rana. Omega & Fletcher tag in and slug it out with forearms and chops until they trade big boots and V-Triggers. Both counter One Winged Angel and Brainbusters, but Omega escapes and starts dishing out Snap Dragons aplenty. The Bucks tag in and we get a wild Elite face-off with Omega & Page that’s met with Holy Sh*t chants as all four start brawling. Wild series of home run shots by everyone, until Nick accidentally takes out Matt with a Buckshot before Page turned him inside out with a lariat of his own. V-Trigger by Omega, as Page wanted a Buckshot, Matt pulled his brother out of the way, but Omega & Page pulled up, only to be dropped by The Bucks in an amazing sequence.
Fletcher slowly stalks down Page, who fires up as the World & TNT Champion threw bombs. Fletcher avoided Dead Eye, traded Tombstones, with Fletcher connecting successfully for two. Callis said Fletcher is everything he wanted Omega to be, but was too weak to become it. Running boot in the corner by Fletcher, who tried a Brainbuster, but Page floated over, blind tag to Knight, who hit a wild springboard sunset flip for two. Dropkick landed flush, as Bailey took out Nick, while Matt & Fletcher wiped Bailey out with double superkicks. Knight tried a UFO Splash, but Fletcher got his knees up, wanted the Avalanche Brainbuster, but Bailey made the save with an Avalanche Poison Rana. Bailey landed right into a Superkick Party, as Nick took out Omega & Page with a dive. Assisted Tombstone by Matt & Alexander, as Fletcher finished it off with a Sheer Drop Brainbuster on Knight for the win.
Post-match, Callis applauded his crew, as Alexander & Fletcher beat down Page & Omega, while The Bucks brawled with JetSpeed to the back. Rocky Romero & Lance Archer joined the beat down, as they set a chair up in the middle of the ring, as Fletcher hit Page with a brainbuster through it. Omega covered up Page, as Romero & Archer set-up a table ringside. Omega tried fighting off the numbers, but Fletcher caught him in the ribs with the broken chair. Fletcher dragged Omega to the apron and hit a Brainbuster through the table, as Callis was laughing his ass off. Fletcher’s back is bleeding, as doctors quickly tended to Omega, who was clutching his neck. The show goes off the air with The Don Callis Family walking out standing tall, as the crowd is quiet with Omega & Page down.
Match Result: Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks defeated Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega & JetSpeed when Fletcher pinned Knight
