AEW reveals matches for Brawl in the Ballpark
AEW is teaming up with the Minnesota Twins for a unique event tonight, and we now know some of the matches that will be taking place.
Following the conclusion of tonight’s Twins vs. Los Angeles Angels game, Target Field in Minneapolis will play host to wrestling matches presented by AEW. The card is scheduled for approximately 75 minutes and will take place in a ring constructed at Gate 34 inside of the ballpark. The matches are not being broadcast live anywhere.
Five matches have now been confirmed for the lineup:
AEW Brawl in the Ballpark (Friday, July 10) —
- The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty)
- Julia Hart vs. Hyan
- Hook, Anthony Bowens & Action Andretti vs. Komander, Dante Martin & Darius Martin
- Brian Cage vs. Serpentico
- Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta
Hart and Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) are originally from Minnesota, so this will be a homecoming for them.
Admission to the matches is free for those who have purchased tickets to the Twins vs. Angels game.
To promote the show, Bowens — who played baseball in college — threw out the first pitch at Target Field yesterday.
