AEW & ROH title matches set for January CMLL event

Earlier tonight, during the January 7th edition of CMLL Informa on social media, the Mexican wrestling promotion announced several new scheduled matches for their International Weekend starting from January 16th.

According to the official announcement, three new highly-anticipated matches have been confirmed for the weekend. ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriaty will face Xelhua in a title defense match, while AEW National Champion Ricochet will defend his title against Titán.

It was also announced that Ricochet’s faction, The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona), will be in action on the weekend as well. ROH World Champion Bandido will also take on Templario. Bandido’s match will take place days after he faces MJF for the AEW World Championship at Maximum Carnage on January 14th, 2026.

As per CMLL Informa, three shows have been scheduled for the January 16th, 2026 weekend. The January 16th event will take place at Arena México, followed by the January 17th event at Arena Coliseo, and the final January 18th show again at Arena México. Despite the official match and show announcements, no official dates for the specific matches have been announced yet.
