Darby Allin

An unfortunate update has emerged regarding Darby Allin’s physical status.

During last week’s Dynamite, Allin took on Kevin Knight as part of the opening night of Continental Classic action. Following Knight’s victory, Allin was taken to a hospital, revealed by Excalibur on Wednesday’s Dynamite and accompanied by a video which showed Allin recovering in a hospital bed.

It was further noted that the former TNT Champion is currently not cleared to travel or compete, and an additional update is expected later this week on Collision. The specific injury was not disclosed.

Allin is a part of the Gold League in the Continental Classic tournament but with news of his hospitalization, uncertainty now surrounds his status.

AEW President Tony Khan is all praise for Darby Allin

During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan heaped praise on Allin, calling him a “changed person” after his Mount Everest conquest:

“He went from being a ten to an 11 when it came to selflessness and his attitude. He already had the best attitude that I know, but he came back another level of a great person. He is so selfless and came back so centered and so focused, I was blown away.”
