AEW star Darby Allin set for no DQ indie match

Darby Allin | AEW Double or Nothing 2026

Former AEW World Champion Darby Allin is heading to 1FW in Georgia next month for a no DQ match.

One Fall Wrestling has announced that Allin will battle his protege Kiran Grey at the indie promotion’s Summer Stage 2 event at Center Stage in Atlanta on Friday, July 17. The no DQ match was set up by a surprise appearance Allin made for 1FW in May, where he laid out Grey after Grey threatened to beat down the next person to walk through the curtain.

While announcing Allin for the show, 1FW said they don’t know yet if Allin will be available for fan meet and greets.

“At this time, we do not have any information regarding a Darby Allin meet-and-greet, autograph signing, or fan experience,” 1FW wrote. “Any announcements regarding appearances, signings, or fan experiences will be shared through official 1FW channels.”

Allin, one of the top stars in AEW, is coming off a 39-day reign as AEW World Champion where he won the title from MJF before later dropping it back.

1FW & MyAEW partnership —

Last month, 1FW became the first indie promotion to partner with AEW’s new MyAEW service. The indie promotion is owned by AEW wrestler and executive QT Marshall, who will be competing in a three-way title match at the Summer Stage 2 event. 1FW Heavyweight Champion Brady Pierce is defending his title against Marshall and Carlie Bravo.
