AEW star Eddie Kingston announced for January indie show

AEW star Eddie Kingston is heading up to Maine next month for an indie booking.

Indie promotion Limitless Wrestling has announced Kingston for their Limitless Rumble 2026 event in Lewiston on Friday, January 16. The show is being held at The Colisee and will be headlined by Limitless’ version of a Royal Rumble match.

This booking is part of Kingston’s final run of indie matches. He announced last month that, for the next year, he will only be making one indie appearance per month leading into him being completely done taking indie bookings by November 2026.

Kingston, 44, returned to the AEW ring this September after spending more than a year sidelined due to a torn ACL and broken leg. In a recent interview with Gabby AF, Kingston stated that he has six more years left on his AEW contract. He wants to “make [his] money and then buy a place in Alaska and get the f*ck away from society.”

The main event of AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming this Wednesday was Samoa Joe retaining the AEW World Championship against Kingston. After the show went off the air, Kingston received some encouragement from Bryan Danielson.

A match between Limitless World Champion Dezmond Cole and Donovan Dijak has already been booked for the Limitless Rumble card.
