AEW star picks Bad Bunny when asked who from WWE he’d like to wrestle

Orange Cassidy says Bad Bunny’s cool.

During an appearance on SiriusXM Sports on Sunday, Cassidy was asked who he would like to face if the “forbidden door” between WWE and AEW were to open.

Cassidy responded:

“If there was a Forbidden Door between WWE and AEW, the person I would want to have a match with is probably… Yeah, I’d like to get in there with Bad Bunny. Why not? Bad Bunny’s cool.”

The Puerto Rican recording star has been the subject of discussion in wrestling and football circles in recent weeks. Bad Bunny is set to be the featured performer in this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show and also received several awards at last month’s Grammy Awards.

Bad Bunny’s status with WWE has also been addressed recently by Bryan Alvarez. While discussing U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego calling for AEW to sign Bad Bunny, Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that Bad Bunny is expected to return to WWE “sooner rather than later.”
