AEW to present custom title belts to Southland Conference Championship winners

AEW and the Southland Conference are teaming up.

The company announced on Monday that they will be teaming up with the sports league to provide custom title belts to winners of the upcoming Southland Conference Tournaments across multiple sports. A presentation will take place at every SLC Championship event to award custom belts.

As part of the collaboration, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR will have “a special message” this coming Wednesday on the Southland Football Opening Drive, which streams at 11 am ET on ESPN+.

According to the press release, The Southland Conference was founded in 1963 consisting of 12 schools within a driving range in the states of Louisiana and Texas.

WWE has partnerships with the NFL and MLB to produce custom title belts to winners of the Super Bowl and the World Series. They most recently entered a licensing deal with the NHL that will see WWE produce Stanley Cup championship belts that will commemorate the winner of the Stanley Cup tournament.
