AEW wrestler helped to back after apparent injury at Collision taping

Josh Alexander appears to have suffered an injury.

Following AEW Dynamite on Wednesday at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, matches for this weekend’s Slam Dunk Collision episodes were taped. Alexander teamed with El Clon and Konosuke Takeshita in a World Trios title match against Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey, and Mistico.

According to reports from those in attendance, Alexander was helped to the back during the match after suffering an apparent knee injury.

There has been no confirmation of the injury at this time.

In addition to this weekend’s episode of Collision, Alexander is also scheduled to appear at the Ring of Honor and Maple Leaf Pro Global Wars event in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on March 27 and 28. Alexander is the current MLP Champion and most recently defended the title against Esfinge at Arena Mexico on February 20.
