AEW wrestler Hook announced for indie show

Another AEW wrestler has picked up a booking for Limitless Wrestling in Maine this month.

The indie promotion has announced that Hook will be in action at Limitless Rumble 2026 on Friday, January 16. It will be Hook’s debut for Limitless, with the show also set to feature his AEW co-workers MJF, Eddie Kingston, and Ortiz. Hook’s match for the event has not been announced.

“[Hook] is coming to the 2026 Limitless Rumble on Friday, Jan 16th @ the historic Colisée in Lewiston, ME!,” Limitless wrote. “The second-generation standout & final FTW Champion makes a rare appearance outside AEW for his Limitless Wrestling debut!”

The son of ECW legend Taz, Hook made his pro wrestling debut for AEW in 2021. He recently turned heel in November 2025 by helping Samoa Joe win the AEW World Championship from Hangman Page. Joe’s reign didn’t last too long, though, as he dropped the title to MJF in a four-way match at Worlds End.

MJF — if he is still champion when the show takes place — will be defending his AEW World Championship against Alec Price at the Limitless Rumble. For the title to be on the line, MJF needs to retain his belt over Bandido on AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage on January 14.

Kingston & Ortiz are facing indie team Channing Thomas & Anthony Greene in a tag bout at Limitless Rumble.
