Powerhouse Hobbs’ profile has been removed from AEW’s official website.

Hobbs, along with Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata, dropped the AEW World Trios titles on AEW Collision this week. The episode was taped on Wednesday and aired Saturday night, with Hobbs’ profile being removed sometime after the broadcast.

Hobbs is expected to sign with WWE. Dave Meltzer reported in the January 12 edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE was “very high” on him. Meltzer also addressed WWE’s interest in Hobbs during the January 15 episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, saying:

“With Hobbs, WWE had expected that they had Hobbs for actually quite a while. I know that they thought that the match last Wednesday was going to be his last one, but he actually did a match I believe on Collision. That will air on Saturday, so that will be his last match.”

“AEW made an offer. He turned down the AEW offer, wanted to go to WWE. We’ll see. For some people it’s the right move, and for some people it isn’t.”
