AEW's Jungle Boy currently dealing with shoulder injury

Jungle Boy is currently dealing with a shoulder injury.

In a follow-up from Friday’s daily update, Dave Meltzer on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio further noted that it was a shoulder injury.

“It’s a shoulder injury,” Meltzer said. “I don’t know 100% it’s from the ladder match, but that would make sense. But I know it’s a shoulder injury.”

Jungle Boy hasn’t wrestled since the ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team titles that took place on the Road Rager edition of AEW Dynamite on June 15. It was there that The Young Bucks won the titles for a second time, ending Jurassic Express’ title run after 161 days.

After the match, Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy, laying him out with the killswitch in front of his family, who were watching at ringside. He then delivered a conchairto to end the show. On this week’s Dynamite, Cage continued the feud, saying he wanted revenge for being eliminated from a Casino Battle Royal match, so he pretended to align himself with Jurassic Express until they lost the titles. When Luchasaurus came out to confront Cage, Cage said they needed to talk. Luchasaurus eventually relented as the two walked to the back together.
